Ukrainian Resource Centre Opening Celebration
To celebrate the opening we sent an open invite to our Ukrainian families and friends here in the Carcassonne area. With the support of our team, volunteers and donators we had Ukrainian traditional music and refreshments. It was a wonderful occasion and enjoyed by all.
Ukrainian Resource Centre Carcassonne
Audois Ukrainiens Entraide have setup the Ukrainian Resource Centre to support the 1200 Ukrainian Refugees currently in the area and villages surrounding Carcassonne in the Aude
Lunch for Ukrainian Easter by Maisons du Minervois and Quaffers & Scoffers
This wonderful event was held at St Jacques d’Albas for the Ukrainian refugees in the area.
The event was organised and run by Maisons du Minervois the association started by James Drinkwater and Quaffers & Squaffers chef Kate Wardell. Everyone came together to provide this free event with music by the amazing celtic band “Off the Boat”. With wonderful food and the company of volunteers and hosts, the Ukrainian people we have welcomed here met each other in a large group for the first time.
