Notes on : Financial and Social Supports

These supports begin 30-45 days AFTER you receive your ADA card. 

What is the ADA amount?

The asylum seeker’s allowance is made up of 2 parts:

• a daily lump sum which differs according to family composition (number of people in the household);

• an additional amount of €7.40 , granted only if no social/government accommodation place has been offered to the asylum seeker.

How you receive the ADA amount

Your ADA card can be used like a Debit Card. You can use it in any shop or online to make payments for anything you need to buy. 

It is paid monthly on the 5th of each month and you can spend it using your card in shops.

What are the conditions to be met to benefit from the ADA?

We currently understand to receive ADA support you must have monthly resources LOWER than the amount of the RSA (Active Solidarity Income).
